in between showers (grrrrrrr ruddy weather) managed to get the other side done and the rear. now i don't want to claim to be a visionary but............ ....i think it looks better than i had imagined it ran out of chrome strip so got to order more of that there is loads of little red bits that need colouring and the monster task of flatting the whole thing! but at least i can drive round town with a smile

what you need is 2 people and a hair dryer to get it right, you are a brave man and/or fool to try it alone on such big panels! the trick is to start at the top and work your way down, we found using a metre ruler's edge to move down in a line horizontally save alot of grief and the arches we heated using the hair dryer and just smoothed it all out.
1 side took an hour.

Once we finally figured out what the hell we were doing that is! It did get easier as we went along though. It is certainly getting some attention already. ;D

Love the wood! A week or so back you were investigating chrome bumpers, i had a thaught last week that the rear bumper from a bay camper might be the right width, i'm sure someone on here could tell you by going outside with a tape.
