yes i will be keeping black with red wheels have got some crome centre caps and trim rims to go on the wheels

I always used to look at the classifieds in SM and CC at these small-engined Pops and the like when I was younger (and subject to higher priced insurance etc). It's given me a bit of a soft spot for them, and yours looks like a particularly good version. Should be great when it's finished!

just to answer a couple of questions the chassis has been boxed where necassary and extra crossmembers with a prop loop have been added smaller bars will also be added diagionally to give extra strengh the wooden sections of the floor have also been replaced with steel. As for leaving the sidevalve in most of the journeys done in the car will be on motorways so it was necassary to go for a more reliable engine that would be able to keep up with motorway speeds
