There has been no major repairs to the car the only bodywork was to repair the lower a posts. The car handles really well and is great fun to drive. future plans are to drive it as much as possible and keep on improving it. Harnesses have now been fitted and ive got a new set of wings to go on.

Wow! Bit of luck that rmad moved it into this thread - didn't realise how much work went into the car.

i go to the leeds cruise as much as i can I'm ussually there with Mark (minormark on here) (yellow minor convertable) Dan (black minor convertable) and Rick (Orange vauxhall viva)

Yep it definetley will be. I'm picking my humber sceptre up next week (see t'other thread) it'd look cool done but I can't help thinking I could get it tax'd and tested, sell it on and buy another 100e lol

Get yourself up to a leeds cruise its at the bnq just of junction 1 of the M621 every 2nd saturday of the month starting about 6.30pm ish

I am insured with 'footman and james' I'm currently paying £640 for 12 months 3rd party fire and theft with a limited milliage of 3000 (cant get fully comp yet) i was paying £600 for the 1300cc engine. It is insured as my second car. I'm 19

Thanks so there is hope for him then .....at the moment he is paying 2100 third party for a 1.6 MK2 Golf......ill have to have a look around for another Pop i sold the 1 i had for him about 2-3 years ago , nice one youngun........

Good work that man.
You've definitely gone the right way by building the car stout enough to take a bigger motor when funds / insurance allows.
Looks like you could go through Xflows / Pintos / Cologne / Essex / Rover / Small Block without having to touch the running gear at all!
