it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

OOOH OOOOH OOOH OOOH *Jumps around like an excited kid* Thats awesome!! Any plans? Do Evo engines fit it? cheers dude The engine essentially is an Evo engine. Well, an Evo is a cleverer, more modern twincam version, but its the same in the sense that an SD1 engine is a TVR engine I'm new to Starions so I'm researching, but the bottom end is good for forever, twincam galant heads go straight on, and a switch to MPI doesn't look too hard, so big power is fairly easy on paper. That said, its fairly easy for someone with a garage and time, of which I have neither ;D Reanimation - yeah dude different from my MR2 in so many ways. It drives for one but yeah, engine in the wrong place and an extra 50bhp + LSD = fun. not as sure footed on the country roads but thats just cos its heavy and the brakes suck. It actually doesnt seem to handly badly. My first turbo and I can see the attraction. Clutch is dying unfortunately, so I can drive it fine without problems, apart from the odd steep hill start, but I can't spin up the wheels cos it just slips. Maybe thats a good thing, my tyres will last longer. It'll get fixed before the summer. Hopefully its a keeper. Until the Capri bug bites again. TRG I'm good dude, ta. gonna get on with it tomorrow if its nice but its just little holes really. By the way, I logged on earlier and you were still logged in ;D was gonna send some PMs declaring your love of horses meat. work servers eh?... looking' forward to this meet next week, I've been in the land of clios too long (no offence Stealth and others This was a new 1.2 billabong commuter car that I had lent to me for a few months while I fixed my MR2 and found a new car) so I've not been to any meets or shows for going on 2 years. Noone but our lass to talk to about cars, and she just ignores me

And I don't have a mini. I'm gonna do the wheels black with polished rims, if I can ever be bothered. Mr Stigma - cheers dude I will do. The Starion uk site is a bit... lacking.

I saw that first photo, with the lighting the way it is, and thought OMFG it's pink!!!!!!!!
Thankfully, not the case.... and I breathed a sigh of relief/awe when I saw it in all it's glory. Very nice car, and a very rare sight as well!!!

8-)Bit of an update, my front bumper is coming along nicely. How angry does it look now with the big mouth ;D I cut away the bumper up to the level of the intercooler behind and stuck the number plate on the bonnet (obviously ) Raked the bonnet for some old school traveller cooling Magnecor 8mm leads and a bit of a service, along some bits of silicone. Question; you ever seen that many vac hoses! And a random pic for no other reason than cos its there
