When this gets done you're gonna have to bring it down to the RR meets we have in Sandbanks in Poole. It looks truly awesome. Right little sleeper as well.

That's beautiful The choice of wheels is spot on too, in gunmetal they look just that bit meaner! Top work!

Ah but red with white hardtop harks back to the works rally cars which were gorgeous!
Best combo for these IMHO is metallic blue over ivory. Stunning.

Guys,
colour choice is so personal. The eventual plan is to have the hard top in the same titanium paint as the wheels.
Dolly,
If it was standard I'd would really consider the metallic blue over ivory but then I'd have to wear a flat cap and string back driving gloves. There's two other 'Nasty Boys' in the UK at the moment and the rumour is that Margot Healey, keeper of the flame of purity in all things Healey, has taken out a contract on the lot of us.
I just reckon the red won't show the blood so much! ;D ;D ;D

Very nice! ;D Makes me want to fix my AH And fit a V8 to it?! Now that'd be a tight fit!! ;D There's a 948 bored to 998 with fully balanced bottom end, centre main bearing strap & Swifttune SW5 cam (should sound glorious when screaming off the top of the tacho ;D) waiting to go in once my brother has assembled it all instead of doing up his house Nice car, but I liked the gray\champagne colour better Red is so.. Red. ;D Must agree about the colour - imho the previous one looks much more of a period drag race car colour than the red

Paul, have a look at www.ntahc.org/modifiedhealeys/. Many 'modified' Sprites there My Big Healey's No.2, which is a reasonable description of the old colour. ;D ;D ;D Haven't changed the description yet so it's the old vendor's sales patter.
