Hi all this is my ride still a work in progress some specs first Engine: E5 Turbo Mazda EFI Mods include Forged pistons (waiting on them ATM), copper head gasket, O-Ringed Block, Balanced bottom end, Ported Polished head, 1.8L Twincam turbo Injectors, Hybrid turbo from a Subaru Liberty with custom dump pipe Running 18psi, Ems Aftermarket ecu, Malpassi fuel reg, bosch 910 fuel pump, with surge tank and lifter pump, 450x300 intercooler with 2.25inch piping.. Gearbox is The Turbo J Spec Brakes upgrade BF 323 discs all round, lowered hardend suspension, 15x6.5inch rims with 195/50/15 tyres, Resprayed in Ford Blueprint Pearl and dark tinted windows ... I Ran a 14.77 with the old baby turbo on 13psi and a baby mr2 cooler with 2inch piping... needless to say its alot quicker now but i've not run it since the turbo and cooler upgrades as soon as i get my pistons and run the motor in then get it dynoed i'll have a crack... should be good for mid to hi 13sec pass ;D anyways enough specs heres some piccys           feel free to leave comments  |

Hi guys thanks for the comments ;D i never wanted the car done over the top... no body kits or any of that curse word.. i don't want attention from the cops but i want a quick fun car that looks nice and makes people go wtf..  the colour comes from the Ford BA XR6 Falcon from aus details for that car can be found at www.ford.com.aualso all the work done on the car has been completed by myself and my brothers.. theres a link to my car domain in my sig with detailed pics & info from when it was red 2 years ago to now... |

Wow, that’s great! So understated. From brief ownership of my one it was a car that did seem to have potential, glad to see some people are tapping into that.

I always had a soft spot for mazda 323's, but this one is truly awesome- so clean and subtle, with a manic engine nestled away there. Superb stuff
Keep up the excellent work, but what is with the seat covers?
<edit> what do your brothers drive?

thanks for the comments.. seat covers are to cover the interior i haven't retrimed yet... rear seats are stuffed and the fronts are from a 90s sports 323 that don't match the black... my little brother drives a ke 35 toyota corolla with a 4age motor in it i also painted this car in his garage..  and my older bro use to drive an RX-5 13B he built.. but has since sold..  |

hey there... really nice car!!!!!! Just bought me a 323 BD too, and will convert it to paticipate in Danish Rally Racing. So what is that engine??... I know that 323 BD had a 1,5litre 115hp turbo engine but don't know the engine code for it, is this the engine?? Where did you get this engine from? I want the turbo engine because there is much more potential in it, even though all 323 BD models from 1,3liter carb to 1,5liter turbo is recognized with FIA and have a homologation attest. If I cant find the turbo engine then I have a set of Dellorto´s for it in 2x40mm and a racing exhaust manifold 4-2-1 in 1,5" and I had a lighted flywheel. All froma 3231,3 BF I raced in for some time ago, and it all will fit on a 323 BD engine. Take a look on my racing web side www.ch-racing.dk (its in danish) and see how I punish a couple of 323 BF, both with Carb engine 1,3liter , injection engine 1,6 (GTX 8valve) and a 323 2wd turbo GT 1,6liter. Hope you can help me best regards Christian Hi Thanks for the replys everyone.. just figured out there was a second page lol the engine code is an E5T Jspec they came out only in japan in the BF Convertable mainly and some fordlasers they aren't very easy to find and usualy go quick when there for sale theres alot of potental in it theres a guy here is oz making 270 hp at the wheels with one.. if you want more info on the motors the most amount i've ever seen is on www.fordlaser.com its an aus website but loads of e5t info is there.. i'm a member there also with the same user name.. |
