Hello all, Thought I'd introduce myself...... Here is my Volvo 340 Its a 1989 1.7 Gl 3dr in metalic black Current Spec is:- - Lowered 80mm on blocks (leaf springs!) and springs - Welded diff - Stripped out rear - 2 x Bucket seats - Luke harnesses - Sparco deep dish steering wheel - K&N Filter - Fire extinguisher - 7x13 Miniltes with Bridgestone Potenza's Ive also got a set of 14" Compomotive alloys which are getting painted as we speak. I origionally bought the car for the Student Gumball Rally, and a friend and I drove it all over europe and back. I then decided to set it up for drifting, getting inspiration from seeing Sid (turbohaus on here) ripping it up at a few events! Future plans are 1.8 16v engine and rollcage. May even revert back to an open diff as want to take it to the nurburgring......... the car has been there before but I chickened out of taking it round with the standard wallowing suspension and lack of exhaust!! Heres the pics:- Comments welcomed! ;D

Great car, all these 300s are giving me evil ideas about the one sitting in one of my sheds. I take it the wheels are 4x100 PCD, but what offset is required?
Cheers.

Minilites are from a mini... cant remember what PCD they are for a mini but i know its in inches and near enough 4x100.
Other people I have talked to who use mini wheels have said they have had to drill out holes a fraction to get the wheel on straight... mine was ok!
I am on the look out for some other trick wheels maybe some wellers or starmags or something! ...... reckon some 13" banded steel wheels would look good also!

Theres a lot of welded differ daily drivers on trampdrift... and now on here too My carlton has one and was a daily car for a good many thousand miles with it. Only just replaced it with another car. That will probably be getting a welder too.
