This is my first post and I wasn't sure weather you guys would class this as a retro ride it being newish compared to some of the fab motors Ive seen on the site whilst Ive been browsing but here goes anyway.
This is my 94 mini sprite called ninja, Ive had him sine august 05 and so far I have manly been building a new engine for him since the big end of the engine is extremely loose..
The plan for ninja is to fit a glassfibre front end, drop him onto 7x10" force racing rims, drop in my new 1293 engine which Ive almost finished and generally spruce him up with some de rusting and a new lick of paint..I'm thinking of keeping it white and clean looking, Ive seen a great fiat 500 on this site which I really like:
..i would also like to fit a red interior like I had on my last mini which was a 78 1000
The engine I am building under the guidance of a friend is a 1293 A+ block which will be running an SW45 cam custom head twin HS2 carbs with a rebuilt gearbox a turbo/rally-clutch built to match..it wont be the quickest mini ever but it will have plenty of torque and be very usable everyday which is what I need as this is my main source of transport.Still need to do a lot to the engine before its finished but heres a few pics of what stage I'm at.
