well after a long time looking for a caddy and seeing a lot of thrashed or wishfully priced pickups I found my bag of bolts on the net. owned by newport county council from new and ten the chap I got it off it has only done 81thou from new, its dented in every panel a has newport council respray in green, odd coloured doors and a few patches of rust here and there, but its rock soild underneath! iits 1.6 diesel and would like to tweek it abit , but its a bit like giving your nan steroids, fun.... but not much use as it may hasten her demise. so in the future a td swop will be on the cards. it aint pretty but it will be soon enough and i will splash on a lick of paint. so far the have dones...... painted the driver steels mars red scirroco adjustable drivers seat (need to find one for the passegner side. dropped the rear down by 4-5 inches by flipping the axle, and about to drop the front at the weekend. any thoughs or Ideas would be great, I got a plan but some times 2 heads are better than one. cheers Tim

Just had an idea...
Caddy, in Gateshead council livery...and a 1.8T under the bonnet.
...I wonder if they would kick up a fuss....
