Just dug up these photo's of my 126 I bought off the 'bay a year or so ago. Was being sold as spares or repairs, basically because it had run out of MOT. Luckily it was only down the road from me so I went to look and found she was immaculate in everyway. So I won the auction for £200 and brought this home And my favorite bit of the whole car was the mint interior, as fresh as when she rolled out the factory! Took her straight for an MOT and she failed on a steering bush and a flexi-brakeline. You'll notice there's not a patch of rust on her, not even in the engine bay! The black around the bottom was gravelchip paint as well, no nasty underseal to cover any welding or owt... Promptly sold her on for £1700 a few weeks later, i'd of kept her and I wish I did but the 30 miles a day journey to work was a bit to much for its 600cc air-cooled lump!

Mate that looks like a cherry. Shame you couldn't have kept it for a bit of modifying fun.

Pah. I used to use my 602cc aircooled Deuche to travel 50 a day on the commute. Granted, almost anything else is preferable when overtaking!
Gorgeous motor. Very under-rated as they just aren't as fashionable as the 500 but much better to drive ie syncromesh and everything!

The old non BIS ones seem to be going up in value, a green one sold on the 'bay a while back for over £3k!
She was a lovely car, and i was sad to see her go, but i needed the monies for a deposit on a house, very dull i know. Lets just hope the new owners enjoying knocking about in her...
