Bought this about 3 months ago after finally getting paid out for my written off black 131 sport. I don't think it'll dissolve as quick as the fiat,so it's proberbly more suited for everyday use! ;D ;D Only mods as far as i'm aware are the detailed (standard) BBS alloys and it's been beaten with the stick a bit. Not sure weather i should put the 325i sport slippy diff in it that i've got kicking around the garage, for a bit of sideways action! ;D ;D

Fit the diff. That is no decision you should even be thinking about. Just fit it. Nice car too! :-)

What size tyres are you running, are they 205/50/15? Cheers.

Did you buy this because there aren't any more 131 left for you to buy,.. seeing as you own them all Nice ride ;D ;D Not quite. I've just bought another to play with!! ;D ;D The beemer is an "in between" car until i get another daily 131 on the road. Thats why i don't know if i'll have it long enough to justify putting the slippy diff in it. I need to spend time on the 131s really. They've been getting neglected with me working on mates MK2 escort and nova rallycars for the last 6 months! The latest one to play with:-

They can become a bit understeery with an LSD in and a standard 2.5. Personally I'd either fit the diff and the 3.5 out a 735 ( Swap fan for electric and get engine mounts off ebay in Germany, fits nicely.) or sell the SLD and get yourself a nice bundle of notes to get your 131 back on the road. The diff should get you the best part of £350.

Its got all the paperwork from new and FSH. Its had quite a lot of welding done hear and there but it's in generally fine fettle.

Cheers for the reply, they are 205/55/15 as standard, but a lot of people run the 50 series, handle well and look good when the car is slammed.
