lol thats unanimous then its getting turbo'ed ;D unfortunately because of the front suspension design inner banded rims are not possible, but I'm using a mgb back axle and if i can get hold of some 10cwt van hubs Ive got a set of wide steels that will fit and look pretty original with chrome trims. sleeper FTW also got some progress tonight spent about half hour after work to finish adapting the o series back plate to take the t series tdc sensor. just got to work out how to mate the t9 to marina bell housing
hi street, cheers for the pump its for this project. Ive blanked part of the reg number so i cant get any possible hassle with tickets etc, where i work we've had probs in the past with people nicking plates and stuff so I'm pretty paranoid about that kind of thing now

excellent news... I blew my car up yesterday (pickup)... Limped it to a friends garage for diagnosis. No time to sort it at the mo so "I've got a man in" Rover engine's are so reliable tho - you won't have the same problem I'm sure

I recognise your coupe from somewhere, I know what the reg is even though you've covered it up. Was it on the bay?
Its just like my GF's old one, does it have drum brakes at the front?

Its a honey! I am gonna support your right to do what you want with your Marina, but if it was me i'd be looking to use a later one as K-reg is the very first year of Marina production (I think) and it would be a shame to lose all the interesting morris minor tech like non-servo front drums and so on. It is identical to wor lass's old one, wanna flog it?

I'm with da plums here. Would be a shame given its importance and rarity but then you can't save them all.
But if people want it and actually have the dough, I do think that is the best thing for the car (wishing desperately I had the dough because it is gorgeous!)

i agree its quite rare, but the first ones were on a j plate and are uber rare and the pics do make it look better than it is. i think its just been washed in the pics as its completely flat paint wise and all of the n/s panels are rippled, and ive plated the front and rear ends of the sills to get it moted spare wheel well etc there is a super clean one on piston heads for sale thats identical to mine though its £925 i will sort some more recent pics when i find my camera cable ive also got a k plate tc saloon that I'm going to restore
