How I yearn for a rusty old nova saloon with an LET and 4x4 shoehorned in. There are a couple of sleepers running about on MIG, really bloody want one.

I think that what we need here is some inspiration, a bit of vision guys come on, some mild sheperding (is this a word?) in the right direction?

Sorry but plans sound hideous! Put some small bumpers on it and some wide weller steels and a screaming race tuned 1.8

Yeah you oughta keep the early bumper and dash, those are the best bits! Otherwise you might as well have any old G-reg nova, a Y-reg is much better and more interesting.

I saw a really, REALLY clean early Nova yestarday in the multi storey where I park the Corsa for work. Got a pic, I'll put it up later. Stock, unmodified base model in that mid-blue that seemed really popular. Quite a good looking car, the early ones look LOADS better than the late ones IMO.

Sounds thoroughly horrendous.
Modykits are poo at the best of times. Home-brew ones 8billion times worse.
Stock, solid body colour and dumped in the weeds s your goal.
Please don't make yet another 'modmods' (wibblepoo) plastic town-centre-krooze-horror!!!

Make it look like a series 1 Nova again, super clean and straight. No green bits, nice wheels, and lower it a bit. Lovely! Look at philj's Polo for the right idea! We'll make a man out of you yet :-) Ok, thats my tuppence worth over with :-D

Here is whatyou shold be aiming for, this is a prime example for subtle and perfect modifications. I know its not a nova, but its from the same class of vehicle, not too much has been done either, just the rights things! Hope you don't mind slater, it just good example! J

My nova goes 0-60 foot in 1.69 secs but wont do 85 mph in second gear gutted, back to the drawing board. Novas are like heroin addicts, you see them from time to time but you wouldn't want one outside your house.
