As a new member I thought I'd post a pic of my new purchase (as from Saturday.) One elderly owner from new 320i manual, lsd, 93k, mint condition excluding some minor surface on the rear arch lip. Pinewood Green interior, literally as new! FSH, garaged all its life. What do you reckon?

I love these old E30s, especially in unmolested form like this one. Well done.

Thanks for the comments. Veteran? One of the first mate! Just think, I bought it to strip out and race in the Milltek BMW Championship next year. I'll have to upload some more pics to show you how original it is.

seems a bit of a shame to race it! Still at least its a curvy track not an oval one.

I love 6 cylinder E30's...the 2.0 version is reckoned to have one of the smoothest 6 cylinder engines ever!

It is smooth actually, pulls like a train, its not rapid but a lot of people say the 320i is under powered. Far from it! I've just serviced it with Fuchs oil (recommended by BMW) and treated it to NGKs and a proper oil filter, not a Mickey Mouse cheap job!
Spent all last weekend mopping it with Poorboy's, claying the body then waxing with about three coats of P21-S. The wheels are a bit curse word (brake dust has got hungry and eaten the lacquer.)
Slammed on 7x13" ATS classics would look the bizzo but I'm not sure if I want to touch it!

A few more... Scuttle panels are prone to going crusty on E30s, not on this one though  So are boot floors... And tailgates... Trim puts the 'm' in mint...
