Well. Its now home, My £87 Audi 80 in metallic bronze with red interior (fantastic). It not in such a bad state. Needs a bit of welding, rear arch repair kit and a bit of sill work but it seems pretty solid all told. I'm going to strap a new battery on this afternoon and see if it turns over, fluids all seem clean and no leaks so far. Project Shiny@rse refers to the fact I'm going to try and do as much work on this as I can myself - my everyday skills can be summed up as adjusting an office chair and drinking coffee so this might prove a bit more challenging. Anyway - here are some pics. When it arrived  After a clean and running on V6 power (well towed by V6!)  Red Velour - smells a little bit like gravy. Awesome! Reminds me of a cross between my old Mk1 Polo GLS and my Mk1 Golf auto, with a bit of Audi class thrown in of course! I think I have a sales brochure for one of these somewhere in my collection, will try and find it and scan/post it up.  |

Excellent - cheers Stu - I'm only the 3rd owner so it'll be nice to get hold of stuff like that. I'll make sure I get you a pint to pay for postage at a future event.

Excellent - looks like you've done well there, all that dust must have put people off bidding on it, i'm sure it would have gone for alot more, looking all clean - it looks nearly mint in your above pictures |
