Try and post a few more pics up here soon, i've fitted a rev counter that started life in a late 70's Citroen GS flat 4, i pulled it out of a scrapper about 15 years ago when i was 14! Now that's what i call foward planning! Anyway i had it calibrated to work with a 2 cylinder engine a few years back- speedy cables did a great job BTW - & had it fitted to one of my old 2cv's, i removed it when i sold that & wired it in the Dyane last week. Although it's obviously not a precision instrument, it's accurate enough.
It's interesting that when your giving it absolute death 85+ it's revving upwards of 6500
