Greetings everyone. I've not posted for a while, but I have been lurking and keeping up with what's been going on. My favourite threads of late have been the 'rogues gallery' ;D and Mr_B's Starlet related road trip; great stuff, makes me want to do it again.
Anyway, as I have just added a new addition to the household, I thought it was an opportuneexcuse time for a new post. I'm sure most of you will be familiar with my new car already but that's not going to stop me from posting pictures ;D Besides, it represents a marked departure in my car buying habits as it is my first venture into the world of retro J tin, so I'm going to indulge myself whether you like it or not. Sorry about the large size (crikey, I've never had to say that before

I managed to pick her up quite cheaply but that's not withought good reason. Sadly, someone has reversed into the side. Actually, the damage isn't all that bad. The passenger door has taken the entire impact and there is no damage to the surrounding area. The inner of the door appears quite straight, so I think it might just need a reskin and new glass. If however anyone happens to have a passenger door and glass for a Datsun 100A wagon that they would like to sell, let me know.
I had hoped to collect the car today and get some pictures posted up, but that's not going to happen now. I won't get time to collect it today so the pictures will have to wait until later in the week. Bit of a dull thread without the pictures really
Obviously, the first thing on the agenda is to replace the door and glass. I also plan to change the wheels but aside form that, I'm just going to enjoy it as it is. It's going to be my daily smoker while I take the Ascona off the road for some upgrades. Any excuse to post a picture of my little angel
