I quite liked it on the black rims...but those Lotus rims are gonna look way sweeter!. Unless you're taking some more out of the suspension, then you don't want to go too low-pro on the tyres. I've posted this pic before (quite a few times actually) but this might be a good combination for you:  That's 175/55 - enough stretch to pull the tread back insie the arch, but not too silly. A 185/50 would be cool too. ps. Can I have a little credit for the whole Lotus wheel on J-car phenomenon  . There's another set on ebay at the moment by the way! |

Rmad, you may take full credit for the Lotus rims idea  The tires I was looking at were 185/50. I tried some arch extensions on it the other day too. I had planned on modifying some group 2 Mini arches, but frankly, they looked rank!  The red hubs are not my doing by the way  |

Hawt! have to agree about the arches, id just use narrower tyres. You going to polish the whole wheel or try a half black half polished look? or something else?  |

This bloke: www.historicparts.co.uk/Parts_Wheels.htm seems to have a good 3.75"selection (including wide steels - yay! I emailed him recently, but no reply yet. |
