	Hi all Been reading this on and off for a while, thought it was about time I registered. I have 2 cars to introduce you to: Opel Manta GTE - this is my everyday, getting-to-work car which I bought a few weeks ago. Really like it, needs a bit of rust sorting, but is great mechanically. Volvo 360 GLT - this is my project car that I'm using for road rallies. Only mods so far are some gas dampers at the rear, some mk2 GLT alloys, a Hella light grille and a couple of extra gauges inside. Plenty of parts waiting to be fitted though including 4 pot calipers, new front dampers, more gauges plus a 2.3 engine which will either be using twin 40/45s or Megasquirt to fuel it. 	Its quite funny your using the Manta as a daily drive and the Volvo as a Rally profect. Most people would do it the other way around. Well done for not being most people. Also I spy a suzuki Swift GTI!

	Well, I like to go against the norm Yes there was a Swift GTi there too, but the Manta has now replaced that!

	Thanks! The 40s would be for the Volvo. As I said, I like to be different!! Although the car has just failed it's MoT on a load of rust so the carbs may have to wait for a bit longer

	Cool, I wondered if a 2.3 GLT (240) engine would be a bolt in mod for a 340/360, twin carbs would make it illegal on road rallies unless you have a split manifold for them though.

	Hey Steve Yeah the 2.3 engine bolts staight into the 360. The car will be mostly used on club events and navigational events down south, so since they don't have road rally permits I can get away with it if the organisors don't mind! Not really interested in doing ultra competitive events, just wanna have a laugh

	Well, I've sold the Manta so thought I better update this. Hopefully you guys and gals will approve of what I replaced it with: .... a 1990 Citroen BX 16v with the full on 160bhp engine. It's a bit rough round the edges, but I'm gradually getting all the bits and pieces done on it. Cheers Carl
