Well I have kept this pic of an Alfasud sprint in my photobucket album for almost a year which I viewed as a template for my ideal sprint. Nice sprints are hard to come by especially the first and in my view purest version with the chrome bumpers. 
I am delighted to announce that I have now managed to get myself one on my old favourite - Ebay.
Its a nice unmodified 1981 model with a reasonable mileage and a clean interior.
The alloys will have to be changed back to the original steel wheels if I can find some as they don’t suit the car IMO.
So after a hectic morning of emails and behind the scenes online arguments I have finally achieved one of my greatest motoring ambitions – to become the owner of an original edition Alfasud Sprint 1.5.
