The more I see these Micra's the more I appriciate them. You can't complain when you get economy and reliability results like that! I saw a neat March Turbo last weekend - nice alternative to the usual Starlet turbo. You finally brought the car up to Cov then retro?

Oh ok it will look like this, although I need to source a cheaper alternative to those wheels ;D I have also got hold of some early Datsun micra small bumpers to give it a more of a euro look. And yep the car is now in cov although i haven't found any where much to drive it, know any good country lanes? As for the March Turbo aparently there are only about 6 (turbos and super turbos) in the UK so a rare sight indead...

the car is now in cov although i haven't found any where much to drive it, know any good country lanes? The back road route to Leamington is quite fun - take the exit off the ring road towards the Kenilworth road, but take the left fork by the park (instead of the right) and keep going. About a mile or so, you hit the outer ring road (A45) - straight over the roandabout. Can't remember the all rest off the top of my head, but IIRC, there's a right turn after a while, on a left hand corner. Either take that turning and just keep going straight ahead at all junctions, and you end up in Warwick / Leamington. Watch out though at the (railway?) bridge as there's a hidden junction there. Or, if you go straight ahead, that takes you to the National Agricultural Centre at Stoneleigh.

Youv'e got a lot to answer for Retromicra, I've been seeing plenty of very clean early micras about lately and thinking they'd make a great litte project for not alot of money, there's a black over silver one near my house that looks quite cool

Hey Retro Micra, I have a set of 6.5J X14 RS Watanabe wheels . They are 4X100 and have 35mm offsett. the wheels have been sandblasted and sprayed in silver, ( I would return them to their charcoal colour). Watanabes are the J version of minilites, only alot better and very popular in the land of the rising sun with retro rides ;D
