I thought i'd offer this for sale before it end up in the hands of the scappy 1990 Saab 900 2litre, it has tax till the end of the month but no test. It is a good runner and would only need an exhaust back box to be legal. Oh yes, the boot has a fairly large (character) ding £50 anyone??

Sorry no pics of the back, i'll try and get some later this week.
The damage is just to the bootlid, the structure of the car is fine and this lid still works.
Car belongs to a mate and is near Wakefield, West Yorks

It is manual gearbox
There is some rot on the door bottoms but its only bubbling, no holes.
The photo flatters it slightly but the guy only wants scrap value for what is really a very reliable and usable car, I think it'd be a massive shame to see it crushed.
Yes the reg is slightly unfortunate but check out the stainless steel wheel trims, how 80s?

I think it'd be a massive shame to see it crushed. It would really be a shame to see a crusher damaged. They are expensive machines you know

I'm rather interested mr minestrone... is the backbox still present? or did it fall off? (was thinking bandages/gun gum) has the owner actually put it in for a retest? ie, is there a fail sheet that only says silencer?

More Pics as promised. OUCH! Iv'e had a look round it today and It really needs some back tyres. The exhaust backbox is missing but the car is still quiet. Maybe a length of pipe could be fashioned into a side exhaust? No, he never tried to test it as the exhaust would have made it an instant fail.

Nowt wrong with that that a bootlid and a zorst wouldn't sort. And 175,000 miles is nothing for one of those.
My 99GL has 176,000 on it and I'm driving a 1100 mile round trip in it over the weekend.
