Over the past few years I've been assembling this rather large mass of old road tests, articles and adverts from old car magazines. This is a sideline to my Datsun OC Archivist duties, where I found I had to extract pages from some magazines in order to find stuff, but I couldn't bear to throw the rest away.
It mostly comes from Cars & Car Conversions, Car Mechanics, Hot Car, Custom Car, Motor Sport and classic titles from the late 60's onwards, with a smattering from Motor, Autocar and others, even some US titles.
As you can see it's all split into marques, so just PM your wants and I can give you a (cheap!) price for your favourite make or even model. Paypal accepted, overseas buyers welcome.
Just to whet your appetites, there's some excellent stuff on Mini, all VW models, RWD Escort, and basically anything that they were modifying or competing with back in the olden days. On Skoda for example, there's a couple of nice series on building up cars for rally and fast road use taken from CCC and Car Mechanics.
Please don't feel too sad for the magazines that selflessly gave themselves to this cause - most were duplicates or getting tatty, and it was either this or get cold and damp in the garage. I can assure you that there are still far too many complete ones still kicking around here....
