starting to be a fan of the new shaped car, if it will perform like planed, molds from the Coupe will be made to build later a small series of Coupes side by side with the California we will start in spring. Certainly hope so, it improves the car a great deal.

This is absolutely fascinating - the attention to every tiny detail really shines through in the outcome. Thanks for sharing! Be great to see side by side before & after photos from the same angles when you're finished, if you don't mind

now iam back on the front, have to design the missing items to be able to finish the wanted shape. For me its a big problem to realize items if iam not able to see in real! So my way to work is allways the same, starting to draw, doing templates to see if it performs or not Normaly it doesnt, some things i have to change a couple of times to get where i want. Not happy with the hood scoop from the Original, personaly i would like to see a bonnet like the GTO had, anyway...

shape and size are not like wanted, so redesign needed, wider at the windscreen and not that high on the lhd side you can see the huge complete out of shape scoop the car had before. next trial with a slightly flater profile needs still more changes, tried to draw the lines of the additional small bonnet i will ad

first trial with the wide bonnet made the bonnet optical shorter, so a longer version not that wide was on the agenda now still not shure about the height of the scoop, so i made the shape to see how it will look from side view

this will be the version i will shape the scoop from, hope it looks good when ready. Will do it with foam so changes are easy done before it will be covered with fiberglas

It's coming on so we'll, great work.
There's an unfinished 275 in gel coat white in the hedge outside Tribute, a good basis for someone.

Thom , is the distance from the mouth to the right hand side air inlet slightly shorter that the left hand side ? i was wondering if the air inlet is low or if the mouth is slightly too far back on the right hand side . i'm sure you have it covered but just in case

the left side is still complete different from the right side, right side is nearly shaped and i use this side to set up details, when i see they are looking well i will start with copy and paste. Doesnt maky any sense for me to change allways both sides when not happy with. Thats the reason the left side is temporarely made from foam, so reshaping will be quick and easy to do. First trial with the hood scoop, target is like the red Original

ok, looks like nasty pictures wanted! made the parts for the front indicator, in real they have to be much smaller , so they don't stick out that much like it was when i got the car, original indicators for the old Ferrari are still available, not that expensive because other Brands like Alfa Romeo and Maserati used them as well. So parts are ordered to check fitment Made the inverse shape which is nasty to shape, with a tube made from PVC and the outher part as a trial from foam
