Just putting this up to see if there’s my interest, I’ve lost my storage so I’ve got this and my Morris Minor now on the drive so I’m toying with the idea of letting something go and it ain’t gonna be the Moggy 😂
Registered in Ipswich and still has the dealer rear number plate.
Originally a 1300L it’s now a 1500 twink running a MED fuel pump, banded wheels done by MrSpeedy on 175x13 tyres and vinyl seats with headrests from a Mk2, also a Mk2 grille (I do have the Mk3 grille too), recent recon steering rack (last June) and mot until end of July (nsf ball joint advisory), currently sorned.
Rust in the usual places, front panel, wings, scabby doors etc and rear quarters but other than that it’s fairly solid, hey it’s BL and rust comes with the territory 😞. Passenger side wing has been crumpled for years but it’s never bothered me and there’s a dent in the rear quarter panel (see picture).
Got a boot full of spares to go with it. Shows 87thouish on the speedo but who knows? 😀
Herpie is a June ‘82 car so not tax/mot exempt until next year.
Vermillion paint polishes up ok but there’s a few different shades of it. 😳
I have a Roof Rack to go with the car.
I’ve tried to be as honest as I can, I’ve owned it for five years and I’ve known the car for ten, previously owned by justanotherhigh of this parish.
I’m thinking about £1800 or very near offer, if I can’t get that then I’ll slap tax on it and use it until storage comes up somewhere. It’s a smelly old dog but has loads of character.
