Volvo, as someone who easily throws their back out - by far the best seats I have sat in. I had a 2006 S60 and a 3hr drive was nothing, used the VC's S80 for a 4hr trip and that was the same & my step dads S40 (1998 one) also was the same. If someone can find it, either top gear or 5th gear did a review on car seats with a leading posture/chiropractor & they said Volvo was the only manufacturer to have orthopedic seats. I must admit that I am surprised to hear that no one else is doing that since the concept is hardly new as Volvo first introduced 'medically idealised' seats back in the mid '60s when they facelifted the interior on the Amazon shortly before introducing the 140 series.

This does explain all my experiences
Whenever I drove my dads mk6 fiesta for more than 20 minutes it would kill my back, in fact I think that was one of the worst.

All you need to do now granvia is find a Saab, Volvo, Merc, BMW, Vauxhall, Ford, Peugeot, Porsche etc etc & test them all for a few thousand miles 😀

I know right 😀 I must admit the Volvo V70 seats do “look” the comfiest but I’m also mindful of the advice v8ian came up with , I think I’ll stick a couple of searches on eBay, Facebook for something local and if I get lucky for a set close and reasonable then I’ll just have a purchase and see how I get on 👍🏻

The seat extensions turned up today and make a massive difference in the camper , will fit them properly and give them a few miles of use to see if they’re keepers 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
