Continuing from the post above!
It's in really good condition for it's km's/miles, interior-wise I would not have guessed the mileage.
Just some plastics that need polishing inside and a "pretty-standard" with some faulty pixels at the gear viewer screen.
Picture at collection (Alfa at side), first drive and fuel up;
What I've done so far is driven it 882km/548miles at an average at 1.0L/10km which is nice and economical.
Went on a ski-trip fully-loaded over the weekend at a friends place and it happily did that.
Some minor defects or things that I would like to do maintenance on are as follows, due to uncertain maintenance
even if the seller (an Auto-firm) did claim all was done.
* Engine oil and filter change.
Mainly due to being easy and Porsche recommends every 1yrs/1000km.
* Gearbox oil and filter change.
The gearbox have been flushed in 2019 due to weird shifts according to one of the previous owners.
But I suspect it would be wise to change the filters as well and it's easy to do so why not.
Also didn't find history of the filter ever being changed. I know I miss some documents/invoices though.
* Change spark plugs/and/or coils.
Have had previously (back in 2016) a missfire on Cyl 2 and the garage changed the coils.
The revcounter does "wobble" a little at steady throttle/idle ca. =>0,1mm, doesn't give an error but still don't like it.
* Windscreen wipers.
Mainly because cheapskate before couldn't bother changing BOTH!
* Paint stone-chips.
Because it looks ugly, I am not worried about corrosion, due to most of the bodyparts being aluminium.
* Might fix a tiny dent on the rear deck-lid.
Why not?
* Remove surface rust on wheelbolts and paint them.
Also why not?
* Loose/sloppy gaslid.
A pretty common fault, loose/sloppy gaslid due to plastic retainer pin sliding out with use.
* Luggage light lens.
It's missing, not too expensive to replace. But it does not bother me, so it's a maybe.
* Foggy corners in the taillights.
It annoys me that the taillights are in extremely well condition, except in the corner it is a bit foggy. Same issue as Audi A6 Avants:s, should be an easy and fun fix.
* Polish the car.
It has "some love marks".
* Paint and polish the summerwheels.
They do have some amount of scrapes. Not too bad considering the rubberbands that are called tyres.
* Get a 2nd key.
Previous owner lost one. Go figure.
So out of these things I did put an order on parts, which is currently on it's way.
1pcs MAHLE OX254D4 Engine Oil Filter
1set VAICO V45-0188 Trans Filter and 8L Trans Oil
10L Liqui Moly Top Tec 5W-40 Engine Oil
1set Bosch OEM Wiper Blades
1pcs Oil Drain Seal
1pcs Metzgear Oil Drain Plug and Seal
6pcs Bosch OEM Spark Plugs
At a cost which would be the same as if you were buying 19L of oil from the local Porsche Center. So fun times await when I get the stuff and good weather/opportunity.
While mentioning the local Porsche Center, to get a new key I found out that not only do I need to drop my pants and bend over to pay for it, I also "need" another one.
Look at these beuties!
After first wash it looks quite good!
Best regards,
