I recently bought this off this forum as a restored example.
It's the yellow one (I can't upload pictures) and it's a very good and solid example, but it needs work and I don't have time for it.
It has loads of good bits that are on it or need fitting which I've purchased to go with the car.
It runs and drives, but obviously the carbs need setting up before it will drive any kind of distance.
2.0 pinto
Vernier pulley
I was told it has a cam, but no proof and I've not checked
Brand new twin 40's, all fitted but need setting up. I have bought a malpassi fuel pressure regulator and qauge to go with it.
Brand new 4 branch (not arrived yet)
Cherry bomb back box
Recently diamond cut rs 4 spokes with brand new tyres
New Weber choke cable and choke clamps.
New drive belt included and has had a new cambelt fitted.
Very very good body wise, it's been painted well but has blemishes here and there. Not a show job but very good
No rust on doors wings body boot floor etc, however it will need welding to the rear sill as it's been crushed by previous owner. And front valance isn't the best but looks okay.
New calipers and front brakes, brakes do need bleeding because of this.
Needs a steering gaitor, 2 are included with new track rod ends.
Interior is mostly there, needs kick panels and headlining sticking back up at the back.
It's an extremely good base to build from for someone that has the time, but as I said I bought this as a "restored" example so I could just get in and go, so unfortunately I'm losing money.
Has been salvaged at some point in its life according to the logbook. Though there is no damage to the car at all, nothing is bent etc and panels are all straight. I was unaware of this until the logbook came back.
Probably a couple of weekends work for someone that has the time, but since I don't I might aswell let someone else enjoy it.
Still motd until November.
If you would like pictures message me for my number and I'll send them over.
£3000 no offers as I'm already annoyed to be losing so much on a "fully restored" car.
