So a few pics above of the engine bay before the r32 was shoe horned in I smoothed the bay a few years ago......like it but it's miles from perfect and I like that about my golf......I did it so it's imperfect 😉 After I removed the vr6 I bought a tr motorsport shifter and some new seats as my previous ones were a bit snug Most parts I've bought second hand and refurbed and I'm intending for more fun driving now than attempting to be a show pony.......I've owned her so long and had so many memories so far ......just need to finish doing the rusty bits that have turned up recently.
She running so just need to button it up.
Was aiming for weekender but unfortunately the world fell apart

I love the current nascar look, shame they're stepping away from it in 2022.i always thought it could work on a totally different car, and you proved it! Looks great!

Cool looking Mk2, great to see someone going for a different style from the herd. Looks mean as hell.

Very nice. Always fancied doing this to a mk2 Cortina. Think they have just the right shape for it.

Always good to have another mk2 nerd on board 😁 I have some pics as I'm doing them ATM unfortunately most of the build thread was on mk2vr6.com when I was converting to vr6 .....still have some more to upload on here of what I'm doing now so will keep updating ☺️

Cool looking Mk2, great to see someone going for a different style from the herd. Looks mean as hell. Thanks buddy, wanted to stand out and be different with a build I'd love tbh....never been a fan of stretch and stance etc, I admire it but I'm not into worrying about 'appearing' scene 🤣🤣🤣 can't wait to get my other plans sorted for her before she goes back on the road 😊
