1984 Series 1 Turbo Escort Cabby

Roll cage now removed as my speaker pods have been refurbed and i would now need to now chop them for the cage to fit so id rather not,inline fuel gauge fitted to check for over pressure on the lines,found a small water leak that was hiding under a jubilee clip on the oil cooler,and sorted a new inner cv as the old one was worn well so i thought..... turns out the gearbox shaft seals had to be chapped in a further 5mm for the shaft circlip to drop into place

Cheers mate always wanted this look since i saw a few S1 turbos roaming the Paisley high street back in the day now the high street is closed I'm the old guy cruising around with the young team saying "wtf kind of car is that" still love the soft tops tho

Got it on ebay but also noticed folk taking the curse word out of it on Facebook lol on the 80s and 90s turbo page each to their own half of these clowns couldnt build a lego car never mind a real 1
