	Back in January tiny bought a fiat 126 to restore. We where told car could stay where it was until we where ready. Then corona virus broke out, long story cut short he sold it on him left him in tears. So I said I would get him something to play with not bad for a 11 year old. 1988 with 16189miles 21 years in storage

	It's in amazing condition and drives just like a new car. I bought one 18month old in 1989 for 3k I forgot how nice they are to drive and that metro noise them make

	I think the last time I saw an F-plate Metro in that condition it WAS 1989!! Great find - well done!

	no welding at all its a minter tiny bits of tiding paint the rims , steam wash engine bay ,its fully serviced

	That’s lovely, must be a really late mk1? Edit: Actually I think it’s mk2 because of the dash.... but the headlights make it look like my mk1, I’m confused. Hopefully someone will be along to explain

	I thought the facelift came in 1984 along with the introduction of the 5-door and the "TD" steel wheels? Happy to be corrected if I am wrong.
