As title, i think i might have a classic car dashboard fetish. The number of cars we did not buy, because we did not like the dash at all, is growing by the year. Must be more than 10 now... Me thinks i like the 60's style best, but i can really enjoy an 80's corsa gsi dashboard, with the digital speedo.
So my question is , please show me your dashes !! i'd like to see them all , and please tell us all about the specifics of your car. We once owned a Mercedes E class pre owned by special forces and after flicking a switch under the steering column and pressing 2 switches at the same time,a small hatch opened on the dash with a gunsafe in it. Really cool feature and i allways kept a can of beer in it.
Thanks in advance!!!!

I totally understand this! I'm a sucker for 70s & 80s dash/interiors. I always think that whats the point of loving the look of the outside but hating being inside the whole time. My newest car came with 2.8 Capri seats in it (its a 79 Capri Ghia) so when i saw some chocolate brown seats and door cards come up for sale I had to buy them. I have a brown dash and trims but its not the right brown annoyingly . I think if i sprayed the kick panels and centre console It would work old and older... I always loved the Mk3 Escort and still love the dash and door car designs in this. Funny enough I always wanted a brown interior in this with the car being Red. Not the best photo below... doesnt have the centre console anymore.

The pictures are not mine and I currently do not own a CX nor a GS but you surely can't have a dashboard thread without mentioning a Citroen or two?! Oh yeah!

I agree on all the above dashboards. I love them all. Included the Citroen for sure. I hope that by September this whole virus thing is behind us as we have more or less planned to take my son and girlfriend to the Snowy Mountains. My son drives a BMW coupe and his GF a Mazda 3. Both no good for snow driving and sleeping in. We have been reading up on what to get. We love the Forester but the Xtrail might be the one to get but look at this..... It's all wrong. This cluster should be in front of the driver!!

That Merc with burgundy interior looks stunning Here you have the light brown + more wood version of that very benz: Hm, in dirdct comparison it seems not to be the same benz. Maybe the first pic shows a w111 limo interior, the second is definitely a w111 coupé (I once had to drive to the car wash).

I've always liked the look of the early Karmann Ghia metal dash. Or the type34 Karmann Ghia dash.

I've always been fond of the HC Viva dash, mostly for the horizontal speedometer. Clearly the symmetrical design was to make it easier to covert to LHD (or vice-versa). Then again the 1960 Chrysler New Yorker took the space age theme to heart. Also featuring the push button gear shift.
