Weddings. They're a bit special, right? So obviously, any self respecting petrolhead will have to have a typically excellent motor lined up for the day.
So, purely out of curiosity and potentially stealing ideas (Sorrynotsorry), what did you have?
Our current short list is a 68 Caddy or a Hillman Minx. Or a Super Bee if I can convince her the dress will fit...
Cheers!

My father in law got the cancer all clear 3 days prior to my wedding last year, so we used his jag No retro! But the supercharged V6 was rather nice:)

Just don’t do it at all, then have all the cars you want, when you want. Lesson learned 😀

Friend of No 1 son's wedding. My X358 SV8, No 2 son's X308 Daimler SV8, Best man's X308 SWB NASP. Sorry for the interloper at the end. We didn't know groom's father was going to gatecrash the lineup, else we would have brought No 1 son's black X308 LWB NASP

My Lancia Fulvia was put to good use on my Wedding day. And a good job it did as well, including taking us on the 400 mile round trip to and from our mini honeymoon without a hiccup! Shame I didn't manage to get the bonnet paint sorted in time for the day, haha.

Just don’t do it at all, then have all the cars you want, when you want. Lesson learned 😀 Fun fact. The soon to be Mrs is dead against it everytime I mention flogging my broken Triumph, half pushed me into buying my rotary and also wants another Mk2 Golf. You missed my point. Loving the inspiration pics so far!

SWIMBO and myself had a Rover 12hp similar to this one only in white. I was lucky enough to be best man for a good mate a few years ago and we used my old Super Minx.

Loving the inspiration pics so far! Fun fact #2. My good lady has informed in no uncertain terms that I need to get my long term project Marina finished for our "big day" as she wants to arrive in it, she hasn't ever really forgiven me for selling the Lada either. Your mileage may vary but I suspect the classic cars might not have been the issue...

That would be great if you can do it, my only regret about our wedding was that I couldn't do it in my Cortina - I even suggested putting it in the wedding budget but that was refused by management!

To get the Escort ready for the wedding I had to compromise on paint, it was a bosh it on quick and cheap job, five years on it does need repainting. I did fit La Cucaracha air horns though, so the Vicar knew the bride had arrived. Had to be done, it's the law.
