Good Morning Retro-Rides.
A few months ago my brother bought a cool Jeep Cherokee in France (he lives there) and lived the dream for a few weeks.
The guy he bought it off was selling it on behalf of his elderly neighbor whose husband had died a few years ago and it was his car.
Then it turned out that the guy he bought it off was a bit of a wrong 'un and never sent him the paperwork or anything and that the car was still registered to the old dead guy. They guy who sold it too my brother seems to have disappeared off the face of the Earth/joined a commune where you can't use telephones.
The police aren't interested in helping and seem confused as to what to do. My brother can't use his Jeep anymore because without the registration documents the insurance is invalid.
Does anyone have a clue how the French system works and what he can do?
Cheers in advance!
