Even if you like getting the rent, as I would to, couldn't you get it off another lodger who was less hassle? You're not just getting the rent though, you're getting hassle as well which diminishes the rent. You deserve a better lodger. Spot on. And it is now up to me to figure this all out. There are shut downs on the power station in May again.

. Today my back made me scream like a girl just as I got into the truck, well, I tried to get into it. No more burnouts I think was the idea. OK......... So I lied. So indoors we have a new pile after the final burnout on the Cragars. Sweet skinny assed Mickey and the luckless lodger changed the wheels for me as I was truly crippled with pain and pinched nerves in my back. I have called the GP surgery to ask for help, got told to call again at 08.00 to see if I can get an appointment. Fingers crossed. I am screwed right now. So bloody skinny, 76 and nothing stops him. After fitting the wheels, I checked the nuts were tight and added the centre caps and wheel nut caps for a few photos. And of course lastly. A very happy guy, this has taken a while to get to, and to be honest, we are not yet home dry, but soon as the caps land from Katy, Texas, we are in business getting the centre caps secured. Happy Chappy.

Wheels have really transformed the truck grizz. Sorry to hear about the bonnet. You of all people don’t deserve that, but without sounding like this thread has a broken record in it, he’ll end up with his comeuppance, karma or otherwise. Again. Loving the wheels. What a difference.

As someone who has had back issues for most of his adult life shoes without support and especially flips flops aggravate it like crazy. Sorry.

You of all people don’t deserve that, but without sounding like this thread has a broken record in it, he’ll end up with his comeuppance, karma or otherwise. Again. Loving the wheels. What a difference. Afternoon mate, Thank you. And thank you for all your help, knowledge And advice on various wheels I looked at nd keep looking at. Those black BMW steels for £75.00 still haunt me, and Paul Y would have fetched them. The Cragars on the truck were good as a look, but way beyond their use by and best before dates unfortunately. And of course the ZQ8 wheels are a favourite, despite not everyone “getting” them. Those wheels look superb. Hope you can get the back sorted-ish soonest. Thanks George. The back is on the NHS waiting list, may take a while. I opted out of BUPA private healthcare when I got divorced as I felt the cash was worth more in my mortgage...... of course, now I am singing a different tune ehhhh. As someone who has had back issues for most of his adult life shoes without support and especially flips flops aggravate it like crazy. Sorry. You are right. And flip flops are just a way of life, at this point it would take boots and corrective inserts to possibly help my back. The damage is old, but of course escalated the last few weeeks. Mmm, ali wills. They look better. Thanks mate. Wheels look mega!!! Good to see the burnt rubber addiction has kicked in too LoL @ Burnt wheels, done it, that’s it. Wheels are an addition I am so pleased with. At near enough£900.00 in the end..... they are expensive, but find me a new set, new tyres for less and I would have them. Wheelzz ... lovely {sigh} Thanks Tony. You are closer to them than some, so you know how pleased I am. That smile was absolutely fake, as I was hurting like hell, after my back kicked off just before when doing the skid, but in my heart I was jumping for joy. They were a milestone for sure. I was tempted to upload my screams that Mickey just so happened to record as he cannot operate the camera correctly, but actually felt embarrassed as well. Thank you very much, they are lovely for sure. Thanks mate. As is often the case, the result of my stuff comes from all of you guys giving input, advice, guidance and even challenges We have build a nice truck so far.

Random update. So every year around this time, Dennis and a gang of friends and family head down to Mexico for 10 days of resort holiday, seeking the sun. This year, with COVID-19 etc, they decided to go to Arizona, which is still reasonable, with a day booked in at Barrat-Jackson Auctions to see some beauties..... They got to see expensive stuff being auctioned, ate some good food. However...... this has been the week. I saw this Gen1 S10 on FB. Crazy? Of course, but love it regardless. Marmite for sure. Spring is here. Mickey is fetching a shed for someone tomorrow He came to swap license plates.... No, he was just getting up. I had told him I needed to get someone clever to wire in a trailer socket for the S10 He came back with this quick fit kit. Had to explain that it made him the devil. In the mean time, I have started on some meds for my back that has me stoned and gives blurred vision. Fingers crossed.

Might be a daft idea but the LR has a bodged non relay trailer connection so I solved the problem of too much current for the existing wiring by changing the bulbs on the trailer for LED ones...Bit quick and dirty but does work. Otherwise if that is a relay block from Micky it should be just the job if connected properly without scotch locks and a nice fused live from the front. Just make sure it has enough connections for fog lights so legal for a bigger trailer / caravan. If you are going to mess about with the rear wiring you could consider a 'frenched' fog light to really tidy things up ? Saw these and thought something like this would look great on your truck. Rest up and take the tablets, hope your back calms down a bit soon. James

. AMAZON !!! I bought an item a while ago. Seller supplied wrong item. DHL picked up the return over a week ago. It actually shows on the item the refund was issued....... There is no money returned in my account till this point and I am curse word. I tried the electronic route earlier but of course it is only AI and goes in circles, with no progress whatsoever. Question is...... how does one actually then get your money back from the Chinese seller?

If it was through Amazon, they are a bit naughty with refunds i have found. The seller refunds the buyers Amazon account, so the next time you buy something on there, there should be an Amazon voucher added at checkout which discounts the refund amount

I am not a regular and found this whole thing a bit weird, distanced, and kinda artificial, which of course it is. I will give it time. Just bugged me that the system is so quick to take the cash, but the same system will take its time on a return. PS: I did opt for the cash refund option. Prefer my cash in my bank, not theirs.
