Absolute mega, a Charger is right near the top of my list of cars to buy when my six numbers comes in. Read the whole thread and now booked marked. Watching lots of Dukes of Hazard during lock down reliving those childhood memories two of the greatest creations Chargers and Daisy! plus I read there is a Charger forum, long may the lock down continue! Cheers, hit dodgecharger.com if you want Subbuteo legs on the loo, hours of fun to be had on there

Not started in ages, not tuned one bit and first turn of the key (after two pumps of the pedal) we get this.

Called down to drop the boot lock, door lock and top hose off and this was happening!! We now have an opening and closing boot and nearly a full brake system, but as with everything on this build, stopped in our tracks for the brake unions, not supplied with the kit and being Yank they're not just off the shelf from our Parts supplier next door. Brakes are nice and meaty so should do the job.

Well what a surprise today was, these haven't seen daylight or even worked for decades, confirmed by the re routing of vac pipes etc to make them work, yes one has a sticky eye but it'll loosen up with a bit of time and lube.

great to see them working.
Most vacuum operated lights seem to open one before the other, if you want them to always operate together either link them with a shaft or use electric motors out of something like an MX5 which are pretty fast.

I'm cool with the little nuances of old stuff, they'll not be going electric unless I have untold issues with them

Sounds great too
