A day late but here's one side done, inner sill treated then outer sill welded in, floor pan welded in. Just waiting on the rear floor pan piece which until the pan was out we didn't realise this was even a part. we're all learning here! Passenger side tomorrow. Annoying part is having to wait for parts, Summit lied about a cross member so I cancelled then re ordered elsewhere and they've just delayed on another manufacturer despite saying 'ships today' grrrrrrrrr Wiring loom supplier and hopefully reupholster man sorted too so still moving along at a brisk rate of knots haha OH and yes I agree with all the comments, its bloody HUGE

I'm trying to figure out what would have weighed more - the car or all the replacement panels Very glad you took that bold step of saying - yep, let's go for it - and the choice to share it here, please keep the camera rolling.

Knowledge is to know a Tomato is a 'fruit' - Wisdom, on the other hand, is knowing not to put it in a 'fruit salad'!

Cool car, I'd dearly love to own one of these gorgeous beasts, but sadly it'll never happen. Enjoying this thread very much.
Any idea of the final colour? Original blue perhaps?

Darkspeed - my poor estate car can agree the panels weighed more, I did wonder what the hell I was doing putting razor sharp panels in my car and with the boot tied half shut with panels hanging out at 80mph on the M62 home. all went well thankfully
Jyd - no idea on colour yet, I've no real clue what lies ahead costs wise with engine/suspension yet. The interior seat covers are a measly $1500 before shipping and fitting over here (wide eyed emoji please) so it'll probably not get painted any time soon haha

And as Frieburger said the only reason to own a Charger, that fuel cap brrrrrrrr Wait, is that a full car now ??!! Can this hosting machine take slo mo videos too? I have the sexiest slo mo of the fuel cap opening..................oh, just me then?? I'll get my coat........................

Coming on really well! What a difference a few big panels can make...not looking such a scary project now and will be well worth the hard work once finished. They don't make muscle like this anymore .

They don't make muscle like this anymore . Weeellllll . . . they sort of do . . . Dodge Challenger - of which my picture won't upload . . . but seeing as the Charger is now a 4 door, it's the closest from Dodge. Mine makes me smile every time I start it - the car twists on the suspension as it fires . . .

I'm a regularish visitor to the States so see these and the Chargers in the flesh, I really do think they've done a good job bringing a classic back, most revival cars are shocking but I genuinely do like the new Chargers/Challengers

Don't want to distract too far from the original purpose of this thread, but yes, I agree. I ended with one as a rental . . then another . . . and thought sod it Driven the new Camero, new Mustang . . . still bought the Challenger. One word of warning - they fill the sills with foam, and don't add much rustproofing - so relatively young cars start to look like this rather older Charger sooner than you would think. Mine has been de-foamed and Noxudol-ed, undersealed and under-waxed
