The other thing I should report is that we were ambushed at 6am on a petrol forecourt by this new criminal activity thing you might have heard about? The invisible highway pirates? Yeah, there was a gang of invisible highway pirates waiting to pounce at a Petrol station as we were filling up. Fortunately I had my invisible cutlass with me and I managed to fend them off while Elky just stood there taking bloody photographs. Modern technology really brings out the worst in people. Anyway, yeah, invisible highway pirates.... believe the hype. It's actually a real thing. Quite an alarming experience. I did a fright poo but luckily I had my baggy jeans on so it went down the leg and fell out onto the tarmac. These are the only 2 photos as things moved unbelievably quickly so I only had time to get a photo of @quartermass fending off the invisible highway pirates..We were caught totally unawares being so early in the morning, but luckily Tim was on form. He took no time at all to square up to the gang. ( I backed off and let him take care of things) 
No sooner had he squared up, he was taking full control of the situation using his cutlessing skills to the full 
It was only then that I rescued poor little Jensen from the floor. I didn't take any photos though.

Hahahah they actually look nothing like I'm fighting invisible pirates now you've posted them. On your phone this morning that's the first thing I thought of.
By the way... if anyone is wondering why I'm parked by pump number two but using the fuel nozzle from pump number four in that first shot...

It's surprising how many things you have to do differently in a left hand drive car.
I actually emptied pump number four and I had to use pump number two to top the tank off.

I think we can safely blame your phone for being faulty.
I definitely looked like I was fighting pirates this morning. I'm guessing you have a Samsung. My Samsung always autocorrects fight scenes. Bloody annoying.

Yes. It's infuriating isn't it. I desperately want to put that whole 'invisible pirate' fake news episode behind me. I had a lot of issues in my life at the time and I think it was largely a cry for help. |
