Depends what you want to do with it, a big expensive job if you want it perfect but looks like it could be put on the road with a relatively small amount of work if you want to keep most of the patina (assuming the chassis is sound and mechanicals basically OK).
Personally I would go the oily rag route if it's the right price.

Arkansas salts their roads. That'll be a world of pain underneath. Pick you one from a gray or white state. Mine's a Mississippi car and the chassis looks brand new, even at the back where the engine oil hasn't reached. --Phil

'54 Chevy Bel Air
Last saw the road in 2017 by the inspection sticker in the window, so perhaps not a bad bet. Any pictures of the passenger side? Pictures are all one side, what's hidden?
Second year on the single-piece glass, too; if it's like mine the rear may be laminated also, and slowly delaminating- after all, that car's seen some sunshine.

With respect to the first car there are bound to be better cars out there. Then again I suppose it depends on what you want from it. If it's to make safe and usable whilst retaining its patina, then remember that the US is a BIG place - there will always be a better one in the next town. Personally I'd buy as structurally sound an example as I could

I guess rear glass is available out there. Waiting for passenger side pics. Widow took photos. 2017 may have been when owner died.
