We return again to the historic Shelsley Walsh on Sunday 18th August to bring our unique blend of retro cars, hillclimb insanity, show cars, daily drivers, weekend warriors and all the truly eclectic stuff that makes up the world renowned Retro Rides Gathering. Full details in due course, we're already deep into our guest car negotiations, with Hillclimb Monsters returning to help us out. For the time being your weekend ticket is available here : store.retro-rides.org/products/retro-rides-gathering-2019-weekend-ticketWe've reduced the camping capacity back down after experimenting with extending it last year as a way to meet our increased cost, sadly this has meant we've had to chuck a fiver on the ticket price, we will be improving facilities, so hopefully not too much of a pill to swallow. Last year was a massive year for us and we look forward to repeating this bigger and better in 2019.

Last year I told myself I wouldn't camp again due to the lack of space, so I'm glad to hear that you've reduced numbers! Those mx5 clubs sure know how to spread out! Tickets bought

It's great that you have the tickets up for "THE WEEKEND" but what about those who can only attend and take part on the Sunday or cannot camp?
What are the options for those please?

It's great that you have the tickets up for "THE WEEKEND" but what about those who can only attend on the Sunday or cannot camp? What are the options for those please? Traditionally the day tickets for sunday are about a tenner per person and pretty much unlimited so no need to purchase months in advance - it's the weekend tickets that sell like hot cakes so you need to be on the ball.

Ok do you get to go up the hill on the weekend ticket if you would like to or is that a separate thing?
So much info missed out.
Thank you fresh for filling in some of the blanks.

Tickets for going up the hill are, I believe, open to anyone who meets the criteria*. You apply, and when selected pay for track time separately... it was £40 or £45 last year I think. The organisers are currently flat out on the Weekender I suspect, but now the event has been put out there, info will start to appear, from my limited appreciation of it, it is a lot more friendly and relaxed (in a ducks swimming way ) than most events, so it will be fine... you need to trust the people in charge *retro, interesting, not too many of the same etc

Can I purchase a ticket for car entry on the Sunday, would love to get Agent Thor there.
Because there is NO WAY I've got room for camping equipment in the car!!!
