The Kent Breakfast Meet is a Facebook group, as long as it’s American, but not exclusive and not brand or, year and model specific I had not attended for a couple of years since taking my 66 C10 apart for restoration. Started and kept alive by El Presidenté, Gene, it is a great meeting, currently hosted by The Woodman pub at Goathurst Common, TN14 6BU in Sevenoaks with loads of parking and very willing staff, family owned, serving a variety of breakfast items, I chose a small breakfast today and good, bottomless coffee for £7.00. I always expect heartburn from these breakfast specials, no heartburn equates good quality food. So a bunch of pics, hope you enjoy. Meeting is every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, 9.00am to 12.00 but we were still chatting in the car park by 12.45 today. Bring the wife and kids. Looking down at part of the car park. More were to come. So got up at 8.00 am and moved cars about, then headed out via my local serviced gas station, added 40 litres of fossil fuel to my reservoir and hit the road at 70mph. This Blazer does want to go. Running down the M25 it went beautifully. Got to the venue, parked up and took some random pics. Then went indoors, got to meet with a bunch of guys I remember from before and more guys, new to me. Best part of this meeting is that there is 100% no Dick-Swinging, just camaraderie and sharing of knowledge and friendship. El Presidenté as a Gene is called tongue in cheek. Does like a good fry up. My diet sized breakfast still was more than sufficient Once we had all eaten, chatted indoors, people floated outside. It was a good day at 10’C or 50’F Panel on air, supercharged. Jag is a “new build”

A few more. BACK TO THE JAGUAR SPEC: Paint: Old English White . Built to lightweight spec , Ali bonnet doors and tailgate . Modded braking system . 4.2 on tripple webers and omex ecu for ignition with a 3D map . Built for sprints and hill climbs but all road legal . I asked Darren the owner about parking a long car like this. His response about tight spaces. CLICK LINK. Do like a wagon. For Sale. Yes you can remove the stickers. Really liked this. Mechanicals under the hood, all standard. Eventually by 12.45 we had all finished chatting, catching up etc. So I headed home too, grinning madly, and I had a coffee date. Good weekend over.

55 Bel Air looks lovely, although i would rather have a 57 but still.....
Woodman is very nice, I ate in it 10 years+ ago and it was owned by South Africans and was lovely then went back last year for our wedding anniversary and it was nicely refurbed and the food was very nice indeed. Lovely little watering hole and tucked nicely out of the way as well.

The most miles I’ve ever done in one hit was in one of those. A bit older, a ‘98 with a 5.9 Cummins in it. 1179 miles from Canterbury to Bailen in Spain. 17 hours driving in a little bit under 20 hours. A lifetime ago now.

That looks like a great meet-up (breakfast looks equally good)
I must confess on my trips to Florida I’ve only ever had eyes for the Ford F-150 trucks but I’m really coming round to the Dodge Ram. I think the livery on that for sale one looks really good.
Granted it’s a little bit in yer face, but in a “Wonderwoman or Evil Kinevil” way, which as a 70s child is AOK in my books.
Yee-Haw!

Wrapped in this. Driving these. Small world - that's my parents neighbours car. When living at home the sound of that starting up on a weekend used to be my wake up call The Woodman is a nice pub and not far from me at all, used to go there regularly for car meets with the PH lot back in the day, perhaps we should organise a SE RR's trip one weekend? The carvery roast used to be excellent as well.

holy tatty-water , that e type looks good! Super slick. Inside is even better, cage and race equipment all functional This is close to perfection. I ADORE everything about it (except I don't have it...) Aaahhh yes. Know what you mean. I think I may have eaten there too years ago with an old girlfriend and her family, just has that feel. It is now family owned and managed again and had that good feel. The most miles I’ve ever done in one hit was in one of those. A bit older, a ‘98 with a 5.9 Cummins in it. 1179 miles from Canterbury to Bailen in Spain. 17 hours driving in a little bit under 20 hours. A lifetime ago now. I suspect they will grow in popularity as time goes, the Hemi models are very popular. That looks like a great meet-up (breakfast looks equally good) I must confess on my trips to Florida I’ve only ever had eyes for the Ford F-150 trucks but I’m really coming round to the Dodge Ram. Nice thing is they are not permanent. I like the stars n stripes. Wrapped in this. Driving these. Small world - that's my parents neighbours car. I like the shape and look of that.

So what do you do when 13inches of snow hits you, a tree falls ove on your only road to town and work?. Well, if your name is Dennis, you do stuff indoors. Like restoring a small, gas pump and reassembling it. Once all that is done, you gomfetch your tractor and push your daily banger, Lumina down the road to get to work. But of course the Lumina is big, bulky and less refined, but great for cruising with its full fat V8 but not particularly happy in snow and ice. So this morning Dennis decided to buy yet another truck to be his daily banger. 4x4 and all the luxuries a GMC can throw at a buyer. I like it. And lastly, a photo from Stas in Siberia where they throw old army great coats over car bonnets/hoods to allow them to cool down a bit slower. Just interesting that this one,had a snow blow over it and ended up looking like a man, unhappy with the snow. Bedtime me thinks

I don't suppose you know the offset of these or the truck in standard form do you Grizz? Just trying to figure out if Blazer rims would be a safe choice for my SD1 without chopping out arches etc (Although blown arches may be an option) The truck looks ace with its new decals and grill, a real credit to you mate.

I am not a technical kind of guy at all mate.... However, I guess there has to be some writing on the inside somewhere. If I remember tonight after work, I will go take a look for you. If anyone else knows..... Please post up on here.

Blazer PCD is 5x5 Offset not so sure but a standard rim is 15x8 possibly with 0 offset. Might have an old rim in the shed I can measure if no luck with Grizz. P.

Thanks for looking Grizz. I will have a look around as you say on Google and see what I can find.
Also thanks for the info Paul Y it gives me something to work with. 5x5 wheels are a pain to find for the SD1.
