July 2018 the car was advertised on eBay, I called the owner within 24hrs and left a deposit! All the pics above are from his ownership and he did all the work. He's a BMW technician now working at a BMW specialist in Derby.
Needless to say, I love the car and intend to drive it as much as possible!

E30 at home with my 110,000 mile Elise. The Elise's engine has done more miles than the BMW's.

Lovely sleeper, extremely rare to see any build done in totally original from outside and wolf under the bonnet.

Lovely sleeper, extremely rare to see any build done in totally original from outside and wolf under the bonnet. I like how it looks stock on it's tiny 14" wheels but has the power to embarrass modern sporty cars. I prefer understated with power rather than all show and no go.

I’ve missed this up to now, you did well to get such a perfect and classily modified example. The previous owner must have lost some money on all that work completed but then most of us do when we decide to move on to other cars.

VERY stealth with those wheels and standard ride height.
I converted mine with the M52B28 in 2006, still have it. Mine looks reasonably stock from the outside but I have a set of 16" RS wheels as opposed to your bottletops, and is lowered a bit. Being a convertible, people don't expect it to have the get up and go that it has, so surprises many when I give it jandal and roar away... even more so as I am a grey haired old git.. Excellent re grey haired old git, I'm getting greyer now... My ride height is slightly lowered but the 14 inch bottletops make her look higher.

The previous owner must have lost some money on all that work completed but then most of us do when we decide to move on to other cars. Previous owner was a BMW specialist mechanic, he saved on the Labour but the parts and paint job cost £££s... Although he picked her up for less than £1,000 several years ago. I was wary about a modified car but this has been done sympathetically, the engine bay looks like a factory install.

I love it when you return to your car and another classic owner has parked next to you. Lovely MG next to my E30... Great plate as well.

Looks mint! A friend of my dads had one in this very colour, same wheels...albeit it was a 320. Traded it in at a secondhand dealer for a Ka (the "ugly" old model!). That guy is probably still laughing... Jesus, the things we do! I did the opposite, I traded in my knackered XR3 with rusty underneath and oil leaks for a E30 320i with a trader who was fully aware of the issues, I'm still laughing as the XR3 was on its last legs... Looked nice though. Obviously he wasnt a very good trader, everyone knew to avoid the c reg mk4 escort. the steel was curse word and rusted as a hobby.

What an absolutely stunning car, I bought a 320 Cabriolet nearly 10 years ago, Did a little bit of (cosmetic) welding on it and started getting the bits to "M50" it, Unfortunately, circumstances changed and it's just been dry stored since, It'll be going on Ebay soon, I don't think I'd have sold yours though, simply beautiful, Nigel

I have 2 other cars plus access to my wife's car so I couldn't justify keeping her. I wanted her to be used and loved by someone else, she went to a good home.
