There's still a few rotten RS2000's around for not much money and it should be a direct swap (take the RS loom and dash across too) the double hump bonnet would look good as well. Thanks , we are going zetec or possibly st170 As for any body mods....I’ve put my foot down she’s staying as she is

Yep, cracking van that, those 4 spokes still look awesome, suprising how good some oem wheels can look in the right colour.

Just got home from the classic ford show I’ve owned more 60s 70s and 80s fords than I can remember But I’ve got to say I’m well pleased for my lad today Got some great comments on the van, it’s too old for the fast ford set , and to some to new on the classic scene But everyone seemed to get it today, just a joint effort with his modern tastes and some of my old ideas Just great all his enthusiasm and work was appreciated by ford scene people , who can be very picky sometimes It’s given me more inspiration to start looking for another budget build for me

You've got me looking for a van now mate! I think your van is very tastefully modified and that's why people like it, no matter what there into new or old Ford's.

That’s a shame mate, we know you’ve followed the build And have made some much appreciated comments Would have been good to meet, maybe next year at cov? Was a fantastic day

Was a fantastic day Yeah it would have been sweet and thanks for the kudos mate, really enjoyed reading your builds and seeing father & son bond - one day I hope to do the same. Defo up for coming along next year - I'll keep my eyes open for dates but give me a nudge when you know if you can, just in case it passes me by again.

We were trying to find a good bumper eBay turned up a few numpties breaking cars But not replying to us Luckily a pal of mine found this for us Another van rotten underneath but has everthingnwe need £150 complete...oh and it came with a nice pair of RS2000 Seats result ! Set about stripping it down tonight, as the wife wants it gone by Sunday! Looking back, I see you never used the side skirts from the scrapper. Were they a bit OTT? It does look just right as it is! :-)

Yep I didn’t want to fit the skirts I just thought a clean uncluttered look was better George wanted and still wants to fit them!

I like the idea of the skirts, but agree the uncluttered look is good. How about fitting them, but painting them the same colour as the wheels? Would be a bit less in-your-face, but would help fill the car out a little.
