Looking awesome Dan, you should both be proud.
Is that this marked as finished or will it still evolve?
I’ve never really noticed how much the back still resembles the mk4 till these pics.

strange , i don't normally like dark grey or black rims but on this they suit the theme so well. the interior is really spectacular , still couldn't live with harness' personally though.

Everything done on this build was the vision and ideas From a 15 year old boy, who was I to argue with wheel choice , harnesses or the chequered floor??!!! I will admit I really wanted the colour, once it was done George agreed Personally I think his ideas were great Looking forward to the coming year at shows and meets with our pals

Well done to you both. George’s vision and your cash 😊😊 make a perfect team. What was you thinking of building when you was 15 all them years ago dan 🤔. Bet you wasn’t thinking you’d build a van in green many years later Any way it’s spot on mate shure there’s not another like it 😎😎 well pleased it turned out sooo good Rick👍

I have read through the whole thread now and it has been very interesting. 90s Fords aren't my thing maybe, but I have a soft spot for small vans regardless of brand, and seeing a young guy dedicated to his vehicle is always heart-warming. I get a sort of a late 90s / early 00s vibe out of this, and thinking about it, even though that seems quite "recently" in my eyes, it's probably retro for him, this hobby will of course develope with the new generations entering it, so..... Nice thread and build.

The colour match on those green tiles is so damn close it looks like youve painted them with the same paint as the van. The van looks so complete and everything ties in really well, so in that respect full credit to George on that. Well done on the pass too, I bet your both well chuffed.

Dan, has it been mentioned before about harnesses being floor-bolted. I have heard this can cause serious back injuries in a crash - apparently a bar is the way to go. Just a concerned post, forgive me if it is not accurate.
