I don't really get the mini front plate thing. This looks way more out of place in the big dedicated rectangle than a normal plate would. If you'd have smoothed the rectangular area away, I might have deemed it making more sense.
But lovely progress otherwise!

After I insisted on colour coded rear quarter bumpers
I have to admit they look awful
George had a good laugh when we decided to change them to the black like he had said in the first place

Agreed, and to add a little perspective, on my Granada there are also things some people hate and others love. It's the way it is and it's fine. Each to their own etc. As long as the owner is happy its all good.

have you got a sweepstake running on how long before the front plate gets you a tug? Ran this plate for 10 years without so much of a raised eyebrow from the boys in blue so I think he will be fine  |

Spent a good few hours on the van with Andy and George today Windscreen man came and fitted the screen Van had a machine flat and polish Roof trims sprayed and fitted, also the rear bumpers now fit perfectly Just lowering and tyres to do and some bits of trim It really is looking good now , we’re well pleased with it     Finishing touch on screen a must surely?  A happy George  |

This morning we got onto lowering the rear Andy cut the saddles of the beam and rewelded them on the other side Beam now fitted above the springs It’s brought it down nicely Just need to fit our 60mm front springs after work this week       |

Shame about the illegal number plate on front.... looking forward to seeing a new 12 month MOT certificate with that fitted seeing as people don't see a problem with it

This is superb.
As I'm contemplating wheel colour for my red car I'll add my view on the wheels. I think the dark coloured wheels get lost against the bright paintwork and it would look better with a silver wheel.
That's my opinion and in no way detracts from how well I think the whole car/build is, particularly with Georges' involvement.
