No expert but it looks like a Jowett or an Allard of some kind. Or a Connaught. Paul H would know Front wings look like a Healey Westland? The rest doesn't though... Agreed about the Healey aspect - definitely Healey wings. Could still be the Healey chassis under there (with Riley 2.5 engine etc). No other ideas though

I'd give a guess that they were in Somerset.... The pictures are of one of her dad's barns! The green car.... Its an LVT. A one-off car produced in 1947 by an ex-TT rider from Swansea. The car was built for him to his design/spec. It has a tubular space frame chassis, Lancia sliding pillar IFS, a Riley rear axle and possibly Riley gearbox still? The original Riley engine (2.5 litre) was replaced by an Alto engine (a racing engine is all I know) and later for a Jaguar XK120 engine (3,442cc) when they became available. The XK engine, a twin overhead camshaft design, well ahead of any other engine available, was used right up to the E-Type and XJ saloon. The engine powered Jaguar to victory in both the C-type and D-type Jags at Le Mans. The body is aluminium and the front wings were from a Healey, probably a Healey Westland.. It's been pulled out of the barn to be restored and before anyone asks, I won't give the location of the barn, nor are any of them for sale, nor parts for sale.... they'll be mine one day and I shall fix them all up!

Sorry to say but by the time one day comes round there ain't going to be much left of that poor e-type, or 2CV! - but good look with the resto on the LVT it deserves to be put back to its former glory

With that LVT I think that'll be the rarest car seen in Abandoned.............. a total one off!
Really stunning piece of kit, even decrepit and forlorn like it is.
*gets hankering for Rochdale Olympic again*

doesnt even look that rusty (although being an early fiat its gonna be very soon lol) few from the last few months (i think ive photo'd most of the ones in my area lol) Bentley along side the A2 but now moved i believe before after Volvo estates gone (probably to the crusher to reveal the fact it was a viva estate and its also unearthed a Cortina Estate, and a clearer view of the Transit van. Transit camper and a reliant in there as well. MG midget removed from a garage in a very overgrown garden probably now dead also.

From the back lights the transit looks like a Mk2 phase1, somewhere between 1978-83

More pics! Droylesden again, this is a pub car park/scrap yard. The futre of these old motors looks pretty uncertain. Another snap, this time near the Airbus factory not far from Sealand, north Wales (cant remember the exact location. Its a P4 this time!
