Still going, as is Ada. We've got another mate bloke we never met before, not never, no siree who would like to come along too if there's room? OH THERE'S ROOM ALRIGHT. GET HIM ON BOARD. QUICKLY. DO WHATEVER IT TAKES. Also though, tell him it's very exclusive and he'll have to wait for the committee's decision and he shouldn't get his hopes up as very few make it through our hallowed doors. Yep I’m still up for this, got the time off work and even got my car now. Lewis (Dex66) has just signed up and even though I have had nothing to do with him and is no friend of mine, I know he wants to come along and show off his cool cal look beetle. We only ever travel with professional photographers. It's one of our founding principles. I just founded it, a moment ago. |

That's very useful to know. I was chatting to a Dutch doctor in this very thread about the possibility of him offering club members a prostate examination during the RRG weekend. He didn't seem to be particularly enthusiastic (in fact he's never returned), but if you have some vaguely relatable medical experiences that haven't lead to any fatalities perhaps you might be willing to step in to give us all a quick probe with a GoPro.
We could set up a table and make it part of our display.
I think my prostate is fine personally, but I do have an itchy harris which can get uncomfortable after a long drive in a pleather bucket seat.

Later today, I'll add a sample image of an 87ish silver Toyoyta Hiace camper, Japanese import (I think). I'm currently sat (alone) in a restaurant and I'm on my trusty, entirely useless ancient phone which presents far too many hassles in the field of photo inclusion for me to bother.
You might be thinking "why mention you're in a restaurant?".
Allow me to explain.
I'm bragging.
Not much of a brag though I guess.
Except...
I'M BEING PAID TO SIT IN A RESTAURANT AND ENJOY A MEAL. EAT WHATEVER I WANT. ALL PAID FOR, PLUS I'M CHARGING A CONSULTANCY FEE FOR DOING IT.
MY JOB, CURRENTLY, IS "PROFESSIONAL RESTAURANT GLUTTON".
AND I HAVE ABOUT TEN OF THESE RESTAURANT VISITS OVER THE NEXT TWO WEEKS.
Also though, I have no friends.
The good news is my Scim got me here. Decided to take it for a longer preRRG test blast just to give me a more realistic sense of whether I will actually be at RRG or will just be dialling in on Skype to greet visitors to our display from an iPad on a Segway.
