Yep . Loosen the 2 locking collers & move down to lower . Be careful , they can seize together easily , although you may already know that .

S-Chassis coilovers seem to have the third collar height adjustability. Never come across it on any other car

Had the afternoon to tinker with the car so I jacked her up & had a look at the coilovers again. Cleaned all the threads & undid the lower collar & wound it out of the way. Undid the spring preload collar until the spring was loose in the seat, wound it back up 5mm & locked off the lower collar. Even though it doesn't look much the front is actually lowered by 20mm. While I had the car up in the air I decided to change the auxillary belt as it was squealing awfully. The tensioner was on full adjustment so there was no more room to help. It also helps if the adjuster is actually doing its job. I found the bolt head wasn't even up against the pulley. Changed the belt. Also found the fmic is a blitz item, which is nice. Finally I have the car booked into an auto electrician local to me thanks to a few recommendations from this forum.

Looks great with the lowering. Lovely thing in general and the blitz intercooler is a lovely bit of JDM kit.

Thanks chap, everytime I check something on the car it seems modified in some way. Only thing missing is a front splitter so I'm currently chopping up an s13 one to see how it will work. Here's a pic of the car with its original that got smashed years before. Also decided I want to reinstate the gauges but slightly more use able. Something like this.

Small changes to the car seem to make a big difference! Now the front suspension has settled the car sits perfect & the wheels look like they fit the arches. I need a 5mm slip on spacer to bring the tyre out to the arch. Also took the grill off & painted it satin black to see how it looked. Bought some 60mm swivel pods to sit on the dash to relocate the gauges too.

This is a quick mock up of the gauges. They come with circular sticky pads which I like as I don't want to drill the dash. I'll have to run the wiring through conduit into the top of the glovebox lid. I'll rewire the 4 gauges after I've had the stereo & heater sorted.

I might look at painting the fmic black to match the grill. Also undecided if I want to mesh in behind the grill to take your eye from the radiotor fans & horns.

my symmetry ocd would see the number plate either moved or binned off in favour of a small centrally mounted inline one too.

Great minds think alike as they say. One of my next endeavours is to relocate the front number plate!

while we are sweating the small stuff...the exposed screws on and gap by the inner ends of the fog lights could do with trim piece to cover them. I know , I know , I'm getting carried away now!

Ive wanted a Chaser for a while but I'm put off by the price.
This shape Gloria with the standard front end, I'm really liking the shape. How does the engine / autobox combo feel?

The 3 litre turbo & autobox in this car work really well. The car has loads of pick up & when it's on boost it pulls forever.
