I’ve known of the Lincoln Continental, my neighbour had a 460-powered ‘64 a few years back. Never seen one of these before this morning. 1979 Continental ‘Hubert Givenchy’ Special Edition. I mean come on. HOW green do you want?

A chap regularly turns up at the unit next door with a C-reg Orion 1.6DL, in bright (Sunburst?) red, which looks remarkably good for its age.

Funnily enough, there were a pair of quite good condition wheels from one of those dumped in a field nearby where I work, but try as I might, no-one was interested in them - they're probably still there, somewhere!

My brother had a Fiat 128 like that when I was about 10 (1982 ish) don’t know how old it was but it was blue and rusty already. I haven’t seen one, not even a photo until this.

The Pulsar, Lynx and Lincoln all feature in a popup headlights thread (now including hidden headlights) here. A version of the Fiat 128 also appears in that list, the Fiat 128 Pulsar by Michelotti 😂

It is relatively new, but today I found out about the Toyota bB Open Deck, and now I want one. I love these too - that Grey import place in Middlesbrough sometimes has one in stock and I spend way too long looking and thinking of a justification for getting one. [ooh look - they have one at the moment]Here's one in Olive-spec Rear end is even cooler than a Skôda Fun

It is relatively new, but today I found out about the Toyota bB Open Deck, and now I want one. Just seen this on Facebook and thought of the toyota HoTWire posted recently 😂 The kalmar Daf 441 also called Tjorven. The Tjorven was developed on behalf of the Swedish Post Office and presented in 1968. Prototypes from 1965 and 1966 had a DAF 33 engine and Variomatic transmission. The production models were built with DAF 44 technology: a polyester body with sliding doors was mounted on a tube frame. The steering wheel was always on the right, in connection with the delivery of mail to letter boxes. There were plans to further develop the Tjorven into a small passenger car, but it never got that far. All Kalmars had an air-cooled twin-cylinder 850 cc boxer engine, which was also built in the DAF 44, and a Variomatic transmission from DAF. Of the Tjorven, 2170 units were built, of which 1195 for the postal service, 588 for sale in Sweden and 368 for export, 50 of which to the Netherlands. There are various versions, also with 1100 cc engine and electric. Production ceased in 1971

The yellow Daf bought back a few memories, of a Daf OSI City Car I had as a Corgi model.

Nothing a set of banded steels, a set of arches, a healthy drop, and a mental motorbike engine wouldn't fix. Or is it just me?

William Fourgonnette. (Willam) That is hideously awesome! How the hell did they get 45mph out of that thing with a scooter engine and the aerodynamics of the New York Plaza?!!

Awesome little cars, and there were even smaller ones than that fourgonette: german wiki shows moreAccording to that article they were even sold in germany, but I couldn´t find anything. Nothing on ebay italy either, except these brochures:
