I might be wrong, but don't Golf springs fit?
If I am wrong, try getting hold of the Passat GT ones - I believe these were about 30 - 40mm lower than std Passat's.

whip em out and adjust them with an angle grinder!! free lowering springs to your own custom height!! (just don't go over any jumps they might fall out!!)

Fascist! ;D ;D ;D Sorry, couldn't resist, it's been almost minutes since I said anything political on this forum! Besides you told me to! ;D ;D ;D ;D
Seriously though, it looks Ok, but if you want to lower it there are more than a few guys on here who recommend chopping bits off the springs by yourself, and could give you an idea of what's involved. (I'm guessing a grinder and a tape measure mostly!;D ;D)

The angle grinder is my favourite tool! ;D I'm not sure what set-up those Passats have, I've never chopped McPherson strut-style springs. I'm not really sure how much you can take off those springs... If you go half a coil at a time you can't really go wrong - it's amazing how much lower your car gets with only one coil off! I cut 1 and a half coils off my Merc and it dropped it about 2 inches! There is always coil-over kits for McPherson strut cars. The springs are abot £25-30 each, and you adapt your own struts (it depends how "hands on" you want to get though! ;D). Then you can just lower and raise the height with a C-Spanner.

IMHO the later one 92-96 is the most hideous passat EVER..... Really like the early ones (like yours) Abi (Bugbabe22 (not Polly )) had a 1800 8v GT Pissrat Estate a little while ago... cracking car... went like stink too! ;D
